The Vegan Van

Out with French fries and greasy burgers – there’s a new takeaway food joint on the block (and it’s on wheels!)”  say yes to life, say yes to health, say yes to vegan! 

For this task  I have to investigate the  food truck kultur in Norway and how this concept has established itself in the country, the assignment start with couple of students who open their own business as entrepreneurs with a new concept of food truck, a vegan food truck.  

The task is to create a logo that can be easy to identify and that says something about the concept, the logo needs to have a authentic style expressions, it has to be contemporary, simple and easy to recognizable, unique and conceptual the logo should be bearingly with colors (less is more).

in this task I will also talk about the different competitors and their proposals,and I’ll go through the different approaches to my logo

Food Trucks were established in Norway since 2016 and gradually gained more fame and followers. There is a wide variety of concepts at the moment, but it was not easy to find food trucks with vegan or vegetarian food, in my search for information I did not find much competition, 

 In Oslo there are many food trucks but there is no one that directly specializes in vegan food. I only found two concepts that can truly be called vegan, but neither of them prepares vegan dishes, they are selling small snacks and Caffe, one located in Bergen and the other in Oslo. the last one offers vegan/vegetarian options but do not specialize. For this task I will focus on  these three concepts, two vegans and one  that is mixed.

A good percentage of people worldwide have started to choose a different lifestyle, among them veganism. veganism is defined as the movement by which people have abolished the use of animal products. Being vegan involves practicing it in all our actions, from food to advocacy and the respect of human rights. veganism seeks to eliminate the consumption of products by companies that exploit labor. The proposal of this food truck is focused on meeting the needs of the local vegan community and yuccies, and also, seeks to attract a niche of consumers who, despite not being vegan, are willing to try new flavors. This type of consumer demands quality products, experiences attached to their beliefs, and establishments that meet their expectations.
